About Me

It all started 12 years ago, when I baked my first brownie batch for my friends in London, UK. Not only was their feedback extremely positive, but I found myself having a tremendous amount of fun in the kitchen and enjoying the entire experience, from selecting the very best quality ingredients, to mixing them all together and getting my hands full of flour and melted chocolate (thankfully not both together). From one batch to another, I got more confident and a lot tidier!

From then on, I started experimenting with other baked goods including chocolate-chip banana muffins, chocolate-chip cookies and chocolate cakes (even flourless ones). As you can tell, chocolate is a bit of a heavenly sin for me :-)

I then decided to venture towards baked goods my mum had taught me to make, such as old-fashioned macaroons (also known as "Macarons à l'ancienne" in France), cinnamon balls, coconut pyramids, honey cake, rum balls and so much more.
 
Having grown up in France, I was keen to share my passion for delicious food and continue to expand my offerings. My portfolio now includes some French classic desserts such as the chocolate fondant cake and the famous tarte aux pommes.

The result is now Gabylicious - a unique selection of my European-inspired homemade baked goods, to be thoroughly enjoyed among family and friends.
